Once a month, on the first Monday of every month (except major holidays), the Western Amateur Radio Association holds its general meeting at the Sizzler Restaurant on Harbor by Brea Blvd., north of the Courthouse on the left-hand side of the road. The meetings start at 7:00pm in the meeting room, but you should show up about an hour early if you would also like to get some food. Meetings generally consist of a speaker who talks about a topic related to Ham radio, and various announcements. Every other meeting we have a raffle or 50/50 drawing. All visitors are welcome and encouraged to come. We would love to meet you and introduce you to the club.

2010 Meeting Schedule:

• Jul 5th: Because of the July 4th Holiday this will be an Informal meeting. Still we hope to see everyone there!

• Aug 2nd: Bill WA6ITF Field Day Movie - Mark your calendars for this one folks! See Events for more info.

• Sep 6th: Dinner meeting at 6 PM at the Sizzler.

• Oct 4th: Dick Norton, N6AA - Don't miss this meeting as Dick will be talking about the ARRL.

• Nov 1st: General Meeting
• Dec 6th: Annual Holiday Meeting

Please note that the December general meeting is usually replaced with a Christmas/Holiday dinner (see the Events section for details).
